Welcome to Aadrika Yoga — a sacred healing space where ancient Eastern practices help you return to your body, breath, and inner wisdom.

 

I guide individuals with chronic pain, anxiety, and emotional stagnation to reconnect with their body’s innate healing wisdom using Qigong therapy, breathwork, and energy-based movement.

 

By restoring flow in the body’s energy system, we begin to release the emotional imprints that lead to physical suffering.

I’m Shama, a trained Doctor and a Yoga and Qigong teacher, combining my knowledge of Western medicine with ancient healing practices. In my classes, I focus on helping people open their energetic channels and clear physical and emotional blockages using movements drawn from Medical Qigong, Hatha Yoga, Tibetan Yoga and Acupressure (trigger point therapy).

 

With my understanding of the body’s systems, I create personalized wellness plans for those dealing with chronic pain, health issues, or systemic disorders. I also offer nutrition guidance based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, specifically the 5 elements food therapy, to help you make healthier choices and nourish your body.

 

My main focus is to help you calm and stabilize your nervous system because I believe true healing can only happen when the body is deeply relaxed. Through my sessions, I aim to leave you feeling more balanced, calm, and in tune with your body. 

 

By calming the nervous system, we activate the "rest and digest" response, also known as the parasympathetic nervous system. This shift allows the body to relax, regenerate, and repair itself. It promotes better circulation, reduces inflammation, improves immune function, and supports the body’s ability to detoxify. Additionally, deep relaxation helps reduce stress hormones like cortisol, which can interfere with healing and exacerbate chronic conditions.

Ultimately, when the nervous system is relaxed, the body can function more efficiently, promote emotional balance, and create the perfect foundation for physical and mental healing.

Acupressure is a therapeutic practice that applies pressure to specific points on the body to alleviate pain, reduce stress,  unlblock stagnation and tension in the body.

A customized Meridian yoga program tailored to your individual needs will help you address your current challenges and enhance your well-being. This program integrates Meridian Yoga Movements, Breathwork, and Acupressure Point therapy to effectively target and release physical and mental blockages, restoring the natural flow of energy throughout the body. The program will be tailor-made to address your specific concerns, designed uniquely for you after a comprehensive consultation.
